About Us
Language Venture Interpretation and Translation Services is a social enterprise with over 200 highly trained professionals, who are experienced in providing interpretation, translation and proofreading services. Our freelancers are mostly professional immigrant women who are graduates of the Labour Market Bridging for Volunteers: Interpretation and Translation Program at CIWA and are CILISAT and CI certified.
Interpretation services include educational, medical, legal, social services and financial appointments that are accessible both in-person and remotely via Video Remote Interpreting (VRI) and Over-the-Phone Interpreting (OPI).
Translation services include financial, legal, medical, and technical documents, drivers’ licenses and passports.

Professional translation is an essential part of our service. We ensure the accuracy of translation and timely delivery of translated documents to clients.
CILISAT TESTING
CILISAT (Community Interpreter Language and Interpreting Skills Assessment Tool) developed by CISOC (Cultural Interpretation Services for Our Communities) is an interpreter proficiency exam and the minimum certification required to work as an interpreter in Canada.
Languages
Our services are available in many languages including American Sign Language. We offer services in over 65 languages, with 29 uncommon languages in our portfolio.
